Dr Muhammad Kashif Munir

Dr Muhammad Kashif Munir is a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine who specialises in the comprehensive diagnosis and non-surgical management of acute and chronic pain conditions. Possessing extensive expertise in interventional pain relief, Dr Munir focuses on delivering tailored treatment plans designed to alleviate discomfort, restore mobility, and improve overall quality of life for patients. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of persistent pain conditions, including complex spinal disorders, joint degeneration, neuropathic pain, and cancer-related pain.

Dedicated to providing patient-centred and evidence-based care, Dr Munir utilises advanced diagnostic techniques alongside targeted interventional procedures. He routinely employs precision image-guided technologies, such as ultrasound and X-ray guidance, to perform procedures including spinal epidural injections, facet joint denervation, radiofrequency ablation, and nerve root blocks. Dr Munir earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, after which he completed structured postgraduate clinical training in anaesthesia across Pakistan and Ireland. He subsequently completed higher specialist fellowship training in advanced Pain Medicine in London. His qualifications include a Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA), Membership and Fellowship of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland (MCAI, FCAI), the Diploma in Pain Medicine from the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland (DPMCAI), and the European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM). He actively contributes to postgraduate medical education and holds professional membership with the European Pain Federation.
