This is an example of what a visit to a GP SHOULD be like. Not a 3 minute phone call with no time to ask questions, but a face to face talk, in a pleasant and calm environmentwith a very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, listening GP who was happy to take time to hear my concerns and then give me detailed and helpful advice. I realise that not everyone can afford to go private, but given that this is only the second time in over two years that I have done so it was definitely worth every penny. Thank you

I habe just completed my 28 days at Rehubs and I couldn't say enough about it.  The knowledge I've been thought,  the therapist were brilliant in thr groups and I've met some really nice people too. Thr fact that they're is a after care is really good too,  and the relapse program is brilliant to.  So it's not like been let go at the end of 28b days,  there's alot more to this.

At the moment the office this therapist uses is not fit for purpose for in-person sessions. I've recently ended sessions having been a client for many years and think she is a very good therapist and have made immense progress but there is a lot of sound coming from just outside her office and despite notifying her on two occasions nothing robust has been done to remedy the issue thus far or that I have been made aware of. When I mentioned this issue after our last session it was downplayed and I was told the noise and the disruption of it was used as material to discuss in the session as if that somehow made up for it which I thought was an inappropriate side-stepping of the issue. 

If you're happy to do purely online sessions than this may not be a problem but considering the sense of safety and privacy required for an in-person therapy session - the sound of loud casual conversation from outside should not be something a client should be dealing with or having to think about during a therapy session especially considering the significant financial commitment of therapy.

There was some mention of informing new clients of the potential of noise from the hallway or adjacent offices to inform their decision as to whether they wanted to do the session online or in person but this conversation was never had with me when this therapist started using this office or realised the extent of conversational noise from the hallway.

I’ll end by saying that I came to these therapy sessions in a very vulnerable place not seeing a road forward in the aftermath of sexual abuse I now feel able and ready to move forward which is something that I once thought was simply impossible. That in no doubt is a consequence of my sessions and is a testament to what has for the most part been the high quality of the sessions. I hope the issue I have mentioned above is sorted.
