Mr Yathish Shenava is professional with patients, putting them at ease. He offers clear explanations for surgical and injection procedures and care plans. Patients report strong outcomes, with better mobility and less pain. Treatments for hip and knee problems are very common among his cases.
On my last visit Mr Shenava told me how my knee would improve with exercise over the coming months and answered a couple of questions with clarity.
Mr Shenava explained the procedure very clearly right from the start. He showed me the trays which clearly showed how much my arthritis had deteriorated in my left hip. I am recovering well with ongoing exercises and having seen Mr Shenava yesterday have been given an open appointment for 6 months to be able to see him if I so require.
I met Mr Shenava as I was suffering from severe right knee pain. He accessed my condition and within four weeks I was booked for a full knee replacement operation. Mr Shenava explained the whole process before the day of the operation and afterwards told me everything had gone to plan. He visited me again the following day after viewing my x-rays and confirmed it had been very successful. During my time in hospital Mr Shenava showed the utmost care and attention. I couldn't have been in better hands. My recovery has been rapid due to his diligence and advice. I would recommend him to anyone who has dibilitating osteoarthritis. He is extremely approachable and understanding and a first class surgeon.
Whilst an operation is never a pleasant experience, Mr Shenava made the whole process as easy as possible with very clear explanations with regards to options, the risks involved and likely outcomes. I am now 5 weeks post operation and I am able to walk confidently, with none of the pain I experienced before the operation. My recovery is going well. Mr Shenava has made himself available whenever I have sought additional advice.
Very professional in his field and was given all the information needed pre and post the operation. I am very satisfied with overall experience with Dr Shenava and the hospital staff.
Mr Shinava is a people’s person and makes you feel at ease. The PRP knee procedure was carried out efficiently and nearly painlessly. Since having these PRP injections I no longer have to use a wheelchair.
I had a great experience. The entire team was very caring and attentive, which made me feel comfortable throughout my knee injections.
I first met Mr Shenava in December 2024 for my first consultation. He was unaware that i was undergoing treatment for rectal cancer. I was anxious that i may lose my opportunity to have a hip replacement. Mr Shenava reassured me at every point that when ready I would have the surgery. Mr Sheneva explained every aspect of my surgery and treatment and dis so with care, compassion and professionalism. On 5th December 2025 i had the operation and i am moving better and more mobile than i have been for at least ten years. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Sheneva and everything he and his team have done - simply first class, thank you!
Very impressed with service amd care. A very professional gentleman.
I met Mr Shenava regarding knee pain from an old injury and he suggested prp injections. I had 3 injections over 2 months and it has helped considerably. Mr Shenava was polite and answered all my questions.
