Mr Suresh Ganta

Mr Suresh Ganta is a highly skilled Consultant Urologist currently seeing private patients at Spire Little Aston Hospital, The Priory Hospital and The Edgbaston Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the University of Madras, India in 1992. He later moved to the UK and completed his higher surgical training in urology in the West Midlands before entering the speciality register for Urology in 2006. He further enhanced his expertise through an advanced endourology and laparoscopic fellowship in Germany. He also holds a Fellowship in Urology with the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Ganta’s expertise lies in the field of stone surgery, where he utilises the holmium laser to effectively fragment stones found in the renal tract, including the kidney, ureter, and bladder. In addition, he is proficient in performing prostate surgery using the green light laser technique and a bipolar current known as Gyrus TURP.

Mr Ganta is also well-versed in vasectomy reversals, employing an operating microscope to enhance precision and achieve superior results. Studies have demonstrated that using a microscope during such procedures yields improved outcomes. Furthermore, he specialises in addressing issues related to erectile dysfunction and infertility, employing advanced techniques and procedures to aid in fertility improvement and sperm retrieval.
