Mr Simon Jackson

I have been an NHS Consultant Gynaecologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford from 1999 to
present. I have also been in Private Gynaecological Practice from 2000 to
present.

My clinical practice encompasses both Elective and Emergency Gynaecology and I have particular
expertise in Urogynaecology, Laparoscopic Pelvic Surgery and Urogynaecological Mesh Surgery.

I have 15 years Medico Legal Expert experience and have provided expert opinion for the GMC and Irish
Council.

I have been the Training Programme Director for the Oxford RCOG Urogynaecology Subspeciality Programme
for the past 15 years, am Honorary Senior Lecturer for Oxford University and
was Clinical Director for Gynaecology in Oxford from 2004-2013.

I have sat on Council for the British Society of Urogynaecologists & the British Society of
Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeons and been a Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Examiner for the MRCOG.
