Mr Sanjay Chougule

Mr Sanjay Chougule is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon currently working in private practice at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Spire St Anthony's Hospital, Ashtead Hospital, North Downs Hospital, McIndoe Centre and his current NHS base is East Surrey Hospital. His areas of interest include hip arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy, knee arthroplasty, osteoarthritis, ankle surgery and foot surgery.

Mr Chougule graduated from Grant Medical College, in Mumbai, with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science degrees in 1996. He continued his higher specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Mumbai, India and he attained a Master of Science in 2001. He has completed specialist orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom and has obtained MRCS and FRCS trauma & orthopaedic qualifications.  He has professional memberships of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and the General Medical Council

Mr Chougule is also interested in research and has published in many peer reviewed scientific journals. He has also received the Gold Medal (Diploma Orthopaedics) award for achieving the highest number of marks among all the candidates.
