About Mr Martin Klinke
Mr Martin Klinke has over 20 years of experience at Consultant level, after being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the prestigious Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital London in 2002, where became the Senior Foot and Ankle Surgeon.
Martin is dual trained in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and has a Master’s degree from the University of Nice.
This gives him a unique perspective on the management and treatment of all foot and ankle conditions, and he has a special interest in treating sports injuries such as achilles ruputues or tendonitis, plantafasciitis and foot stress fractures. Over his career, he has treated a number of high profile professional athletes, and sports team players.
Martin has been working in private practice as part of the London Foot and Ankle Centre since 2003 and has gained an excellent reputation among his peers and patients as one of the best and most experienced foot and ankle surgeons in London.
He left the NHS to work full time in private practice in 2007, following a rich and varied career working in some of the best teaching hospitals and world-leading orthopaedics centres, both in the UK and Europe.
He works at in a multidisciplinary team, alongside other orthopaedic specialists, physiotherapists and podiatrists to ensure a fully comprehensive treatment approach for his patients.
Martin has a particular interest in hindfoot pathologies, ankle replacement surgery, sports injuries and forefoot disorders.
He undertakes the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair, bunion surgery, and operative reconstruction of foot deformities.

I had an amazing experience and so nice to meet with Dr Martin Klinke in his lovely offices. Dr Martin Klinke was extremely professional and personable and I really enjoyed my experience meeting him. I would highly recommend Dr Klinke in order to get a really in depth and knowledgable overview.
Mr Klinke was readily available to speak with and update me on my scan. Although he had not received the radiographers report at the time of my consultation, I was comfortable in his knowledge and experience in that he could interpret the scans to satisfy my questions and put my mind at ease. He has a very nice manner.
I have a longstanding relationship with Mr Klinke and would unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone with biomechanical issues regarding their feet and ankles.
Martin was, as he always is, friendly, knowledgable and clear with his recommendations.
Mr Klinke without question is a superb surgeon and a fantastic consultant. He made everything very clear and straight forward about my surgery and my recuperation requirements and I would highly recommend him
