Mr Ryan Trickett is professional and clear when dealing with patients. He provides full explanations for hand and wrist issues, including surgery options like thumb joint replacement. Many patients gain full movement, feel less pain, and have quick recovery. Patient concerns involve thumb joint issues and Dupuytren's contracture.
Dr Trickett is an extremely approachable, down to earth, friendly and polite person. He is extremely professional in his explanations of what surgery you require, why you require the surgery and how it will be performed. Dr Ryan Trickett is extremely well known as a fantastic surgeon and as a very nice person within the South Wales region and I’m sure further afield too. He has worked hard in his career and deserves the notoriety he has achieved.
I saw Mr Trickett for a second opinion for an ongoing hand issue. A comprehensive history was taken and my hand was examined fully examined. I felt I was listened to with an unbiased opinion. I had a clear explanation of the next steps, including who and what would be done and what to expect after. The steps after that were explained fully and I appreciated that Mr Trickett explained that this might not cure my wrist and hand issue but these options were worth exploring. I felt reassured, having previously been very nervous and I look forward to exploring these options.
I had hand surgery a couple of a weeks ago, great experience with the surgery and Dr Trickett!
Xray of xmc joint replacement on arrival and appointment straight away professional and courteous. Outcome of operation excellent
The whole experience with Ryan was great. He's lovely and approachable and was willing to adapt as needed to help my journey through a thumb joint replacement. He's also a superb surgeon who managed to successfully fit a joint with minimal space to do so giving me back full movement and use with minimal scarring.
Follow up appointment after surgery. Mr Trickett was very polite and informative.
i was booked in for a replacement thumb joint. Mr Trickett came to see me before my surgery and we talked through my questions and concerns. He put me at ease. After surgery he came to see me to let me know how the surgery had gone.
Ryan was personable, informative, professional & explained my son's wrist issues in a way that we could understand. He put my son at ease. Thank you!
Didn’t have to wait, appointment was on time. Very polite and straight to the point which is what I like.
