Mr Robert Lloyd Williams

Mr. Robert Lloyd Williams is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon renowned for his expertise in Foot and Ankle Disorders.

After graduating from St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1986, Mr. Williams pursued his surgical training at institutions such as the Royal National Orthopaedic, Middlesex, and University College Hospitals in London. He obtained his fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990 and went on to achieve accreditation in orthopaedic surgery in 1996.

Mr. Williams further honed his skills through Visiting Fellowships in Dublin, Ireland, and Houston, Texas, specialising in Foot and Ankle Surgery. In 1997, he assumed the role of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University College London Hospitals NHS Trust, focusing on Foot and Ankle Disorders. He also served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Saracens RFC.

Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has been actively involved in academia and research, publishing numerous research papers in prestigious medical journals. He has also played a pivotal role in organising and facilitating educational courses and seminars on foot and ankle surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Williams has served as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to prominent ballet companies such as the Royal Ballet Company, English National Ballet, and Central School of Ballet. He has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by dancers and has provided expert care to numerous young ballerinas and dancers, both in training and performance settings.

He is a founding Partner of The London Orthopaedic Clinic (TLOC) based at Mayo Clinic Healthcare. He also holds clinics at Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre, and has operating privileges at King Edward VII’s Hospital, Princess Grace Hospital, and Portland Hospital.
