About Mr Lindsey Knight

Mr. Lindsey Knight is a consultant ENT surgeon with many years experience with adult and paediatric ENT disorders. Additionally he has a specific interest in paediatric ENT problems, and particularly all forms of adult nasal / sinus and ear surgery.

He has over 30 years of experience as a practicing ENT Surgeon regarding the treatment and diagnosis of ear, nose, and throat problems and diseases in both children and adults. He has also been spent over 25 years as a UK senior teaching hospital consultant.

Previously, Mr. Knight led the Leeds ENT department as lead clinician twice and as a clinical director. Currently, his focus is directed solely towards his clinical work.

Mr. Knight trained in both the UK and the USA, with his training commencing in Cardiff with an ENT surgical rotation. He then spent a year in a pure research post at Cardiff University Common Cold and Nasal Research Centre, where he undertook scientific research into nasal and ear disease and wrote a Thesis on the 'Control of Middle ear Pressure'.

He continued further training in the USA as a prestigious TWJ research fellow at the University of California San Francisco and has been the author of more than 30 scientific papers. He was then appointed as a Consultant ENT surgeon to the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 1995, working at Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale Hospital. His private consultations and surgery are undertaken at Spire Hospital in Leeds.

Outside his clinical work, Mr. Knight is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer of the University of Leeds. He has a passion for sailing and an interest in woodwork and all things practical.
