Mr Khalid Ali

Mr Khalid Ali has been operating as an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) consultant, and surgeon for over 25 years. He works throughout North West England and Manchester with expertise in treating all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat conditions and a particular interest in Rhinology, Facial Plastic Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery.

Mr Khalid Ali has special interest in Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) for cosmetic and functional needs. He has extensive experience in Rhinoplasty surgery which he has developed and has been performing this for over 18 years both the open approach to address nasal tip cosmetic conditions and nasal bony part, and the closed approach as well.

Mr Ali has developed great interest and skills in Cosmetic Ear Surgery (Ear pinning, Pinnaplasty) and Facial Plastic Surgery.

Mr Ali is very experienced in the diseases of the Nose and Sinuses, highly skilled consultant in performing Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Nasal Polyps and Allergy.

Mr Ali has completed postgraduate training at centres of excellence throughout the UK and abroad. He is recognised by the Fellowships of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow which qualifies him as a senior surgeon.

Mr Ali is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the British Rhinology Society, and also the European Rhinology Society.

Mr Ali is a member of the American Rhinologic Society.

He further completed a higher degree in the Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) in London.

Mr Ali is European Board certified, has obtained the European Board Certificate in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (EBE ORL-HNS) in Vienna, Austria.

In 2017, Mr Ali was awarded the MD Degree (Doctor of Medicine) from the University of Leicester, for his achievement in Medical Research. This is the highest degree a surgeon can achieve.

Mr Ali completed a fellowship in dizziness, vertigo and balance conditions in 2009 at the Washington University Hospital Dizziness and balance Centre, USA.

In 2005, Mr Ali obtained a Masters degree in Surgery of Voice and Swallowing from Newcastle University, and completed a fellowship in Portland, USA.

Mr Ali is actively involved in training the next generation of ENT surgeons. He is involved in auditing, research and teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate doctors. Mr Ali regularly presents his latest research and many published peer reviewed scientific papers in his specialist field at international medical conferences. He has been invited to speak at several national and international courses.
