Mr Henry Dowson

Mr Henry Dowson qualified as a doctor from the Charing Cross Medical School in London. He then received extensive training in both the UK and Australia and completed his specialist training in the South West Region, having also been awarded an MD for his laparoscopic colorectal research at the University of Surrey.

Mr Dowson developed a passion for laparoscopic colorectal surgery and this is why he chose to receive extensive training in the field. He is also a renowned teacher and author of numerous published articles.

He is currently part of an excellent team of surgeons at Frimley Park Hospital and his practice has been recognized by the CQC and Dr Foster as one of the top hospitals in the UK. His aim is to provide his patients an excellent level of care and he achieves that by working in a multidisciplinary manner. This ensures the desired medical care is given from the start of the patient's journey until the end. His team is always up to date regarding the most advanced developments within the field of colorectal surgery as he constantly attends conferences and international meetings as well as carrying research on his own areas of interest.
