Following my training throughout Northern Ireland, I was appointed to my Consultant post in Antrim Area Hospital. My main special interests are management of Gynae cancers, Abnormal smears and Benign Gynae problems. My real passion lies in improving patient experiences in Gynaecology and the Cervical Sreening Program. I appreciate that Gynae complaints are a personal and intimate problem and because of this, you can expect a safe and balanced approach from me. I aim to reassure and make a difficult time as comfortable as possible through an open and honest approach.

Gynae Cancers; Menstrual problems (heavy periods); Colposcopy (examination of Cervix and abnormal smears); Vulvovaginal disorders (lichen sclerosis, vulval itch, soreness, discharge, abnormal bleeding, suspicious lesions, skin conditions of vulva, vulvodynia); Ovarian cysts / masses; Vaginal hysterectomy (including laparoscopic approach); Risk assessment and preventive surgery for women with family history of gynaecological cancers
