Mr David Archampong

Mr David Archampong is a Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon at Blackpool Teaching Hospital's specialist Breast Care Centre, where he specialises in breast cancer and associated surgery. He consults privately at Fylde Coast Hospital (SPIRE).

Diseases, Medical Tests and Treatments:

• Risk Reduction Bilateral Mastectomy and Immediate Reconstruction with Expanders/Implants
• Lumpectomy with Partial Breast Reconstruction with Perforator Flaps
• Excision of skin cancers with split skin grafting

Mr Archampong qualified in 2002 with his MBChB from the University of Ghana Medical School. He also holds an MSc in health sciences (Newcastle University) and an MPhil in medical sciences (Bangor University). Additionally, he has undertaken oncoplastic fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and the Royal Stoke Hospital. He is certified in oncoplastic surgery.
