Mr Christopher Adams

Mr Christopher Adams is a Spinal Orthopaedic Consultant at the Scottish National Spine Deformity Service. He started working as a Consultant in 2004, at the Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. Then in October 2006, he returned to the Scottish National Spine Deformity Service. Mr Adams treats patients of all ages with spine conditions. In addition he provides medico-legal reports for personal injury and medical negligence.

Mr Adams completed fellowships in Edinburgh and Nottingham. He has an interest in education, and teaches at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and helps with the Scottish Spine Surgeons group.

Mr Adams lead the team who won the best paper (out of 47) at the 2017 British Scoliosis Society meeting in Birmingham and has successfully published several spine surgery articles on the NHS website.
