Excellent consultation and post operative after care

A good experience from start to end of process. Each step was explained clearly with the chance to ask questions.

Very polite and professional, explained everything in detail of what was wrong, how he would fix it and how to ensure the problem does not recur in the future. Kept in touch throughout the process to ensure I understood the journey

This is my third procedure with Mr Shalaby. His diligence, explanations and approach are first class. The operations have also all been resounding successes.

My experience with Mr. Shalaby from first meeting to last ( including surgery) was nothing short of excellent. My Achilles Tendon rupture was severe, requiring Mr. Shalaby to bridge a gap of 6 cm, the operation has been 100% successful and after 8 x months recuperation and physio’ I have returned to my occupation as a Aviation Firefighter. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Shalaby to anyone who requires his highly specialist skills.

I am 81. I am basically very fit and healthy. After some months of physio treating Achilles tendinopathy, huge pain in calf muscles, the tendon finally ruptured after a small miss - step. A few days later there was NO PAIN, just an obvious gap beteen the ends of the tendon, and a very weak leg and poor balance. I was encouraged to see Mr Shalaby by reading excellent reviews on his surgical ability, his excellent diagnostic ability and his clear and concise explanations of any alternative choice in treatment, of probable surgical procedures and of the post operative immobilisation and treatment thereafter. An ultrasound scan confirmed his findings at the consultation. I have not yet had an operation Mr Shalaby has written very good and clear letters to my GP, with copies to me. He has also been very helpful discussing everything on the telephone. I have complete faith in him going forward.

I found Mr Shalaby is a very easy person to talk to., with his explanations of what, where and when in the next stage of my procedure making feel totally at ease

Excellent explanation and advice at each step.

Mr Shalaby was very helpful and reassuring prior to and after my surgery. He explained things to me well and made me feel like I was in safe hands.
