Having had subtalar fusion surgery earlier this year, I had 13 week follow-up appointment today. Mr Shalaby has been fantastic. Everything was explained very clearly before surgery, my questions answered and any anxiety I had melted away. Mr Shalaby was delighted with my recovery process today and discharged me from his care. Mr Shalaby has been absolutely brilliant with me from start to finish. I highly recommend Mr Shalaby. 10/10 from me.
Mr Shalaby was very pleasant and kept myself up to date with all that going on and what was planned. If I had any questions he would take the time to explain the answer fully
Mr Shalaby is clear and concise in his assessment of my progress, and makes a point of comparing x-rays before, after and current condition of the ankle surgery. I find this helpful and reassuring.
Mr Shalaby had clearly fully reviewed my medical history in preparation for the consultation. In addition he had organised the multiple detailed x-rays so as to inform his decision making. I was very grateful that at last my condition was fully diagnosed and that I was given a comprehensive explanation of it, and of the rational for future actions. In all, a quality and professional treatment.
I visited OPD2 and was met by a lovely member of staff who guided me to reception where I got checked in. I was sent to X-ray dept and had 3 X-rays taken. I returned to OPD2 and was shortly met by Mr Shalaby for our 6 week post Op follow up. Mr Shalaby was warm and friendly and had the X-ray results already up on the screen. We discussed the results and a clinical examination was carried out. The results were looking very good and Mr Shalaby was very happy with my progress. I was also very happy with Mr Shalaby throughout my time in his care. A further 12 week follow up has been organised as well as physio.
Very happy with my experience, all my questions and concerns were addressed and he has resolved the pain i went to him with
Had a foot surgery for a condition i had for long time. The surgery went very well and the team was very helpful. Dr Hisham is a great surgeon at the highest international level and a very kind person as human being Much appreciated and thankful for your help.
Perfect! Everything was explained to me about my ankle operation and I was kept up to date at all times.
First rate surgeon. It would be useful for the more elderly patients, if he could communicate more slowly and emphasize the more important bits even repeating to ensure understanding. I rate him very highly and would recommend him every time.
Very clear and polite and gave me very good understanding on my surgery.
Highly respected foot and ankle specialist who I’ve know for nearly 18 years.
