Mr Khwaja Amer Abdullah Shoaib

Mr Amer Shoaib is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Machester, who specialises in foot and ankle reconstrucive surgery. He provides surgical and non-surgical treatments for a variety of foot and ankle conditions, from ingrowing toe-nails to ankle replacements. Mr Shaoib completed his undergraduate training at St George''s Hospital Medical School in London and undertook advannced surgical training in foot and ankle surgery from several of the most prestigious surgeons in the UK. Mr Shaoib is a member of the British Foot and Ankle Society, and the European Foot and Ankle Society. Mr Shaoib served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Bosnia and has a special interest in treating war-related limb imjuries. He was featured in an article in the Sunday Times about doctors working in conflict areas. Amer also runs a charity which recycles used medical braces and surgical appliances so that they can be re-used in less developed countries.
