Dr Mostafa Negmeldin

Dr Negmeldin is a highly experienced Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with over 15 years of clinical practice. He completed his specialist training in respiratory medicine and intensive care in Egypt in 2013, following a Master’s degree in Respiratory Medicine in 2009.

Since moving to the UK in 2018, he has been working at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he leads the Tuberculosis and Interstitial Lung Disease services at Bedford Hospital. He has also worked at leading NHS centres including the Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, and Royal Preston Hospitals.

Dr Negmeldin has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory conditions, including chronic cough, asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sleep disorders, chest infections (such as pneumonia, bronchiectasis, and tuberculosis), lung nodules, lung cancer, and pulmonary vascular disease.

He is passionate about providing patient-centred care and takes time to ensure his patients fully understand their condition and treatment options.

Alongside his clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching and training medical students, junior doctors, and specialist trainees. He also contributes to research and clinical audits, and serves as a CESR evaluator and PACES examiner for the Royal College of Physicians.
