Dr Michael Mcfarlane is a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive system conditions. Adopting a patient-centred approach, Dr Mcfarlane prioritises clear communication, patient reassurance, and rigorous diagnostic evaluation to formulate effective, tailored management plans. His core expertise encompasses general gastroenterology, hepatology, and diagnostic endoscopy. Dr Mcfarlane performs key endoscopic procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy) and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy (colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy).
