Very caring professional lady. Explained the next step of my journey thoroughly.
Very calm atmosphere in the reception area. Staff on reception were extremely helpful. Consultation was carried out with empathic professional manner with a consultant who listened. She had been recommended to me and I can see why. Pharmacy was closed but the female receptionist on duty( Monday) arranged for a member of the nursing staff to give out my prescription which saved an additional trip back to the hospital. Parking was also free!
Dr burch was kind and caring listend to everything I said with great empathy gave me some reassurance I really needed but also made positive steps and plans to help me get to the bottom of what Is going on in my body .she was so supportive and put me at complete ease .
From start to finish I felt looked after and well cared for. Thank you!
Dr Burch was very professional and caring. She explained everything to me clearly and precise. However, I found the experience quite rushed. My cannula was put in incorrectly and it stung so they had to try again in a different vein. A couple of nurses looked into my little waiting area and said, “you’re not having sedation are you??” This made me feel even more anxious than I already was! The procedure was hurried. I had a few nurses putting different things on me at the same time. My air for my nose wasn’t on properly so I tried to move it into place while having my blood pressure taken so found it difficult. As I was turned over my hair was in my face and I worried about dribbling on it. So I moved it out of the way whilst having my sedation in my cannula. I just wouldn’t have minded a bit of a personal touch considering it is a private hospital.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review your procedure. I’m sorry to hear about some of the difficulties faced and will ensure this is fed back to the team for learning.
Dr Burch was very friendly and approachable, answered all my questions and was reassuring about my symptoms. I felt very listened to and she had very good knowledge about what she explained to me. I would highly recommend seeing her.
I’d been struggling with a stomach problem for a long time and with the change in the appointment system at my gps had only been able to get a telephone appointment with them. It was such a relief to sit down and have the time to discuss my issues in depth. Dr Burch was easy to talk to, reassuring and positive.
What a lovely lady Dr. Birch is. She put me at ease immediately and took the time to explain fully why my issues were present and what she could do to remedy them. I will be visiting her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
