Mrs Melissa Bible

Melissa Bible is a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at the Priory Hospital Altrincham, where she works within the adult mental health service. She has over eight years of experience at the Priory, providing structured, evidence-based therapy for a range of psychological conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and low self-esteem.

Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Salford (2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool (2012). She is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).

Her clinical practice combines cognitive and behavioural strategies to support individuals in achieving meaningful change and improved mental wellbeing. She has also worked and volunteered in diverse mental health settings both in the UK and internationally.

In addition to her clinical qualifications, she holds a Level 1 qualification in British Sign Language, further supporting inclusive communication in therapeutic settings.
