Dr. Rollins is a highly experienced Paediatrician. Their postgraduate training took place throughout Paediatric units in Northern Ireland, London - St Mary's and Great Ormond Street and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rollins has won the Northern Ireland Healthcare Awards of the year in Diabetes, Obesity and Developmental Paediatrics. They are a former President of the Ulster Paediatric Society and are an Undergraduate Honorary Lecturer in Child Health at both Queen's University and Ulster University. Dr. Rollins is a Postgraduate Lecturer with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Dublin.

Dr. Rollins is a keen sportsman and enjoys many outdoor activities. They have represented Ulster Under 19 and the Development Squad Rugby, are a member of Royal Portrush Golf Club and have competed in several Marathons and Mountaineering expeditions. They are heavily involved in Charity work as a former Chairman of Tiny Life and current Trustee and Medical Director of Northern Ireland Children to Lapland and Days to Remember Trust.
