Dr Maria Corretge

I am a consultant in Geriatric and General Medicine working in Scotland. I subspecialise in Parkinson's disease and neuropsychiatry (dementia care) and I strive to provide holistic care to these patients. I am also a General Physician with ample experience in Chronic Fatigue syndromes, general decline, bone health and osteoporosis, rationalisation of care, cardiovascular disease and palliative care. I am a member and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the British Geriatric Society and the British Neurospychiatry Society. I strive to provide personalised care and aim to give expert and informed opinions to help the patient on their journey. I value continuity and a solid, honest relationship with my patients.

Outside medicine I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Religion, Ethics and Philosophy and I like to spend my free time with my dog and family by the sea (ideally in that order).
