Dr. Manil Subesinghe

Dr. Manil Subesinghe is a highly qualified Consultant Radiologist specialising in diagnostic, functional, and radionuclide imaging. Dedicated to delivering patient-focused care, he plays a key role in identifying, staging, and monitoring a wide spectrum of medical conditions. His clinical approach focuses on utilising advanced imaging techniques to provide clear, accurate assessments that support tailored treatment planning and offer reassurance to patients throughout their diagnostic journey.

Dr. Subesinghe completed his primary medical degree at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine, qualifying in 2004. He subsequently undertook General Medical Training across Leeds and London, followed by higher specialist Clinical Radiology training in West Yorkshire. To deepen his technical expertise, he completed a dedicated one-year fellowship in PET-CT imaging in Leeds. Demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining standard-setting practices within his field, he holds membership in the Royal College of Radiologists Clinical Radiology Professional and Learning Development Committee, as well as the British Nuclear Medicine Society Scientific and Educational Committee.

With extensive clinical expertise in oncological imaging, Dr. Subesinghe focuses on functional and molecular imaging modalities, particularly positron emission tomography combined with computed tomography (PET-CT). His clinical work encompasses the diagnostic evaluation of lung, prostate, haematological, and oesophagogastric malignancies, alongside the assessment of pulmonary nodules. Alongside his clinical duties, he actively engages in academic research and higher medical education, co-authoring national clinical guidelines and advancing the use of functional imaging to improve patient care outcomes.
