Mr Luke Planter is an HCPC-registered podiatrist with vast experience in a range of foot-related problems including podiatrics surgery, sports-related injuries, biomechanics, diabetic foot management, and minor surgery for ingrown toenails. He is passionate about his work and enjoys going the extra mile to ensure each patient receives the best possible care. He is a skilled communicator and is able to explain conditions and treatments clearly to his patients.
Mr Planter gained his bachelor's degree in podiatric medicine from the University of East London in 2015 before going on to gain a postgraduate certification in podiatric sports medicine from Queen Mary University of London in 2017. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University, which he achieved in 2020. During his career, he has worked in both the NHS and private health care.
Mr Planter aims to maintain high standards of care and as such, he ensures to keep his knowledge up-to-date by attending courses and conferences. He is a member of the College of Podiatry and an affiliate member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
