Dr Lee Abbott

Dr Lee Abbott is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist who serves as a Clinical Lead specialising in Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine. With a career focused on the care of newborn infants, particularly those born prematurely or with complex medical conditions, he provides expert clinical leadership in neonatal intensive care. Dr Abbott is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to his young patients and offering reassuring support to their families during challenging times.

His clinical expertise spans a wide range of neonatal services, including neonatal intensive care, advanced respiratory support, and therapeutic hypothermia. Dr Abbott has a particular interest in neonatal transport, ensuring that critically ill infants are safely transferred to receive specialist care when required. He is also highly skilled in neonatal cranial ultrasonography and is actively involved in national clinical audits to continuously improve the standards of neonatal care.

Dr Abbott is a fully registered medical practitioner with the General Medical Council and holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Alongside his clinical duties, he is deeply committed to medical education and research.
