About Dr Kush Joshi
Dr Kush Joshi is a highly experienced Consultant in Sport, Exercise, and Musculoskeletal Medicine, and the Medical Director at Carter & George. He specialises in the non-surgical treatment of joint, tendon, and muscle conditions, offering expert care for everyone — from elite athletes to everyday individuals experiencing pain or mobility issues.
Dr Joshi trained at some of the UK’s leading medical institutions, including University College London Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare, and the Royal London Hospital. His NHS practice is currently based at Homerton University Hospital, and he has previously held prestigious consultant roles at Oxford University Hospitals (Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre) and the Ministry of Defence.
With over a decade of experience in elite sport, Dr Joshi brings world-class knowledge to every patient interaction. He has worked with top organisations including Chelsea FC, Saracens RFC, and served as Tournament Physician at Wimbledon for six years. I had an appointment on 22/04/2026 at 17:40 at Homerton Radiology (X-ray Reception, Ultrasound Room 3) for injections in both hips, and I just wanted to share how positive my experience was. The nurse and doctor who looked after me were absolutely excellent. They were professional, calm, and very reassuring throughout the whole procedure, which made a potentially stressful situation feel much more comfortable. They explained everything clearly, checked in with me regularly, and showed genuine care and attention. The procedure itself was carried out smoothly and efficiently, and I felt I was in very safe hands at all times. I’m really grateful for their kindness and professionalism — they truly did a great job. Thank you again to the team for such outstanding care!

Kush is brilliant - really nice guy, easy to get along with, and communicates complex issues very clearly and simply. My most recent appointment included an ultrasound and he walked me through exactly what we were looking at and where the issues were as he was scanning my leg. Would recommend him to anyone.

I’ve had two visits to see Dr Joshi in recent months. In the first session he was able to localise the source of my pain, something that had been impossible for a variety of other doctors I’d seen previously. Since then, his treatment plan has been clear and he has been personable and easy to talk to, which makes the experience all the better and allows me to ask as many questions as I need without feeling rushed. It goes without saying that I am very glad to be seeing him for my treatment.
