Dr Kulbir Mann

Dr Kulbir Mann is a Consultant General Surgeon who delivers high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring urgent and elective surgical interventions. With a dedicated focus on emergency general surgery and complex abdominal conditions, he is committed to providing timely, patient-centred treatment tailored to individual health needs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Mann specialises in emergency surgical care alongside sub-specialist expertise in hepatobiliary and pancreatobiliary surgery. His clinical interests encompass the management of both benign and malignant disorders of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. He regularly performs minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, including gallbladder surgery and complex biliary operations, helping patients achieve optimal surgical outcomes with minimal recovery times. In addition to his direct clinical care, he holds leadership roles as a Clinical Director and chair of regional quality groups, where he leads initiatives to enhance emergency surgical pathways and maintain high standards of patient safety.

Dr Mann completed his medical education at the University of Liverpool, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree. He subsequently undertook advanced postgraduate research, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). Deeply engaged in medical education and research, Dr Mann serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer and General Surgery Training Programme Director, mentoring future surgeons and contributing to clinical research.
