Dr Karl McPherson is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for women across all stages of life. Dr McPherson completed his medical training at St George's, University of London, graduating as a qualified Doctor in 2008. Demonstrating a continuous commitment to academic and clinical development, he subsequently pursued postgraduate studies in Reproduction and Development at the University of Bristol. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), regularly contributing to clinical research, education, and national safety initiatives aimed at improving maternal and foetal health outcomes.

In his clinical practice, Dr McPherson maintains a specialist focus on early pregnancy loss, recurrent miscarriage care, and high-risk pregnancy monitoring. His sub-speciality expertise includes foetal growth surveillance, obstetric ultrasound coordination, and the prevention and management of perineal trauma, such as obstetric anal sphincter injuries. Alongside his maternity care services, Dr McPherson provides comprehensive general gynaecological care, including outpatient consultations for postmenopausal bleeding, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, urogynaecology, and minor outpatient procedures.
