Mr Kalid Abdlslam

Mr Abdlslam is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Mr Abdlslam specialises in knee and hip surgery. He has undertaken intensive post-graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Germany and the UK (Birmingham, Sheffield and Nottingham). During his training, he researched a variety of orthopaedic problems, publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting both nationally and internationally.

As a consultant, Mr Abdlslam continues to play an active role in training medical students, junior doctors and trainee surgeons. He is an educational supervisor and a Royal College Tutor overseeing the training of junior doctors in his specialty.

Mr Abdlslam specialises in all aspects of knee surgery, including knee replacement, with a particular interest in computer-navigated knee replacement and arthroscopic knee surgery for soft tissue reconstructions (including cruciate). Mr Abdlslam uses the Enhanced Recovery Programme for hip and knee replacement surgery.

Mr Abdlslam is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Association for Surgery of the Knee.
