Dr John Reed is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist and Paediatric Specialist who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults. With expertise spanning general dermatology, allergy management, and skin cancer care, he offers compassionate, high-quality clinical evaluations tailored to each patient's individual needs. His patient-focused approach ensures that families and individuals receive clear guidance, reassuring support, and effective management strategies for complex skin and allergic conditions.

His clinical focus encompasses a broad range of dermatological and allergic disorders in both paediatric and adult populations. Dr Reed specialises in the investigation and management of urticaria, angioedema, and allergies triggered by foods, pollen, animals, and dust. He performs advanced allergy testing, mole checks, dermoscopy, and dermatological surgery, alongside providing desensitisation immunotherapy for severe allergic reactions. Additionally, he manages general dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancers.

Dr Reed completed his medical degree in London in 1991 and subsequently undertook specialist training in dermatology. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research and academic excellence, he successfully completed a PhD in immunology at University College London in 2005. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and holds active professional memberships with the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology, the British Association of Dermatologists, and the British Society for Dermatological Surgery. Over the course of his career, he has served as a Clinical Lead and an Honorary Senior Lecturer, contributing significantly to clinical research and quality standards in dermatology.
