Clear and thorough

The consultation was very informative and Dr Aslam made us all feel very comfortable. Wesley often feels uncomfortable with strangers, but was happy to talk. We feel confident now with next steps and thank Dr Aslam for his time and patience

My son was referred for ADHD by the school over 2 years ago. We have been waiting for this appointment for a long time to be told that the schools report doesn’t match up with ours. The member of staff who filled it in was not someone who is familiar with my son and shouldn’t have filled it in. Doctor was understanding and polite, helpful with advice going forward and willing to resend the forms to be filled out again by someone that does know Caleb. Hospital was not staffed when arriving, no signs for where to go, no one to sign us in or advise us. We relied on other members of the public for directions as the offices were closed.

Kaiden was a bit Nervous going today but he spoke to dr easily once in ther he listened To Him and me (nan) when we came Out kaiden felt A lot better he said on way home I'm getting there ah man so that's a step forward thank you

Dr Aslam was very knowledgeable and asked lots of questions, giving me time to relay information that I felt was important. I really felt listened to and understood, which made the appointment much more beneficial. I was informed about next steps and local support. I didn't feel rushed and Dr Aslam was friendly.

Dr Aslam was friendly, calm and reassuring. He listened carefully to our concerns and took the time to help reassure my daughter when she became anxious. He also called the day before the appointment to explain exactly where we needed to go and what to expect. He gave me the opportunity to ask any questions beforehand and was very reassuring, which helped make the whole experience feel much less stressful.
