Dr John Molloy

Dr John Molloy is a Consultant Paediatrician specialising in paediatric allergy and clinical immunology. He provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for infants, children, and young people experiencing a wide range of allergic conditions and immune system disorders. Dedicated to improving childhood health outcomes, Dr Molloy combines clinical excellence with a compassionate approach, ensuring families receive tailored guidance, accurate diagnostics, and effective management strategies catered to each child's individual needs.

Dr Molloy completed his primary medical degree (MB BCh BAO) before undertaking extensive specialist postgraduate training in Paediatrics, paediatric allergy, and immunology. Furthering his commitment to medical science, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with a focus on early life risk factors and environmental influences on allergic disease. He holds professional memberships as a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI).

In his clinical practice, Dr Molloy diagnoses and manages complex allergic conditions including IgE-mediated food allergies, eczema, allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, angioedema, primary immunodeficiencies, and rare disorders such as eosinophilic esophagitis. He offers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as diagnostic food and drug challenge testing, detailed allergen avoidance strategy planning, adrenaline auto-injector administration training, and allergen immunotherapy using oral, sublingual, and subcutaneous desensitisation methods.
