Dr Jigna Modha

Dr Jigna Modha graduated in Medicine from the University of Birmingham with an additional BMedSc in Public Health and Epidemiology. After completing anaesthesia training in both Leicester and London to include several specialist hospitals she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA). Dr Jigna Modha has been practicing as a consultant in anaesthesia and peri-operative medicine since 2016. Her NHS practice is at University College Hospital London and joined Cleveland Clinic Hospital London in 2022.

Dr Modha's areas of expertise include anaesthesia for minimally invasive major general surgery including robotic surgery (urology, gynaecology, general), head and neck surgery, ENT, cancer surgery and perioperative medicine. She remains up to date with modern advances in anaesthesia. In 2021, she won a patient nominated Clinical Excellence Award for kindness. Her manner offers patients a safe space for concerns to be heard and she encorporates a holistic approach to care focussing on excellence, governance and patient safety.
