Dr Farrah Ayob is a highly experienced pain specialist with over 12 years of experience in managing a range of chronic pain conditions, including complex pain, central pain, cancer-related pain, and acute pain management. She completed her Advanced Pain fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Dr Ayob believes in a holistic approach to pain management and is a firm believer in the benefits of complementary and alternative medicine. As a consultant anaesthetist and pain medicine specialist, she is committed to providing the best possible care to her patients.

Dr Ayob sees more than 400 chronic pain patients per year and is experienced in performing various pain interventions, including lumbar/cervical/thoracic facet joint steroid injections, medial branch radiofrequency denervation, and peripheral nerve block and stimulation. She also offers consultations and management (both medical and interventional) for chronic pain conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, pelvic and abdominal pain, fibromyalgia, cancer-related pain, and neuropathic pain.

Dr Ayob has worked in various hospitals, including Barts Health NHS Trust, Whipps Cross University Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. She has also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Perioperative Anaesthesia at the Toronto Western Hospital-Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
