Dr Jennifer Brindley

Dr Jennifer Brindley is a highly dedicated Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician who specialises in the care of newborn infants and critically ill babies. Serving as a Clinical Director for Neonates, she is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to her young patients and providing reassuring support to their families during challenging times. Her clinical practice focuses on ensuring the safest possible start in life for neonates, particularly those requiring specialised medical attention.

With a strong focus on neonatal medicine, Dr Brindley has developed key clinical interests in simulation training and neonatal resuscitation. She is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and clinical outcomes, such as projects focused on improving baby growth measurements and minimising the risks of ventilator-associated pneumonia in preterm infants. Her leadership as a Clinical Director allows her to drive clinical excellence and foster a collaborative environment within her multidisciplinary team.

Dr Brindley obtained her primary medical qualification (MBChB or equivalent) and completed extensive postgraduate training in paediatrics and neonatology. She is a registered medical practitioner with the General Medical Council and holds membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She actively participates in continuing professional development to remain at the forefront of advancements in neonatal care.
