Dr Jane Pritchard

Dr Jane Pritchard is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care across a wide range of neurological conditions. Focussing on clear communication and individualised treatment plans, she works closely with patients to manage both acute symptoms and complex, long-term neurological conditions. Her clinical focus encompasses General Neurology alongside specialised neuromuscular and neuroimmunological disorders, ensuring each patient receives thorough, reassuring, and evidence-based care.

Within her clinical practice, Dr Pritchard possesses extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating complex nerve and muscle conditions. Her sub-speciality interests include peripheral neuropathy, Motor Neurone Disease, and Myasthenia gravis, as well as inflammatory neuropathies such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy. She oversees targeted clinical management and advanced therapeutic interventions, including plasma exchange and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy, while contributing to clinical research aimed at enhancing treatment standards.

Dr Pritchard completed her undergraduate degree at Cambridge University before pursuing her clinical medical training at Oxford University, where she qualified with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BM BCh). She subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of London. She has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and maintains active leadership within the medical community, serving as Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for Inflammatory Neuropathies UK.
