Mr James Read

Mr James Read is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon.

He graduated from Imperial College in 2006 and has over 20 years qualified continual medical practice.

His main expertise lies with the minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) treatment of malignant and benign conditions of the colon and rectum, exenterative approaches to locally advanced pelvic malignancies, and minimally invasive (laparosopic and robotic) hernia surgery. He also provides care for conditions of the anus such as haemorrhoids and fistula.

Operatively he is a high volume cancer and benign surgeon who has the latest and best surgical equipment available at the venues he provides care in.

He holds full JAG accreditation to perform colonoscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
