General Surgeon
London, SW1W 8RH
Dr Fiona Tsang-Wright is a Consultant Breast and Reconstructive Surgeon based at Wycombe Hospital. She is also the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Cancer Clinical Lead and has overall responsibility for all cancers in the hospital and close working relationships with other hospitals in the area. She sees private patients at Chiswick Medical Centre, London, and BMI Chiltern, Buckinghamshire.
Dr Tsang-Wright completed her medical degree and biomedical sciences at King's College London before undertaking postgraduate surgical training in North West London. She has reconstructive experience gained at the three largest tertiary oncoplastic units in London: The Royal Marsden Hospital; Charing Cross Hospital (Imperial College); and St Bartholomew's Hospital.
Her clinics are one-stop, meaning a patient will be seen by Dr Tsang-Wright and a consultant radiologist (if imaging such as an ultrasound scan and/or mammogram and/or biopsy is required) at the same appointment. This enhances the patient experience and reduces the number of visits required and associated worry and anxiety, which is ideal for women who would like regular breast screening and surveillance.
Dr Tsang-Wright is a specialist in breast cancer treatment and offers each patient personalised care using oncoplastic remodelling techniques and reconstruction. She has a keen interest in risk-reducing procedures and offers joint procedures with a consultant gynaecologist. She is also interested in breast cancer in younger women and benign breast diseases such as breast pain and breast cysts. Dr Tsang-Wright sees patients of all ages, including children.
She has led the way with using technology for her patients and, in 2021, she introduced the use of a Magseed (Endomag) for the localisation of impalpable cancers and digital consent (Concentric) into her daily practice. She also raises awareness of breast cancer and spends time fund-raising for charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support and Prevent Breast Cancer.
Dr Tsang-Wright was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2018 and began work as a full-time consultant in 2019. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal Society of Medicine, and the Association of Breast Surgery (UK).
Dr Tsang-Wright was born and raised in London and currently lives in West London with her husband, three children and much-loved dog.
