Dr James Brousil is a highly qualified Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in foot and ankle surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, and limb reconstruction. He is dedicated to providing patient-centred care, helping individuals find relief from debilitating joint pain, sports injuries, and complex deformities. Dr Brousil graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 2005. Following his initial medical training, he completed his specialist orthopaedic training in the East Midlands and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013. To further refine his expertise, he undertook prestigious fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery in Cambridge, as well as paediatric orthopaedics and limb reconstruction in Sheffield. His commitment to global best practices is demonstrated by his completion of visiting fellowships in Seattle, Boston, Florida, and Sydney. Dr Brousil is an active member of several professional organisations, including the British Medical Association, the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Association, the Orthopaedic Trauma Society, the British Limb Reconstruction Society, and the British Orthopaedic Association.
