Dr James Bashford is a highly dedicated Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Academic who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of complex neurological conditions. With a strong focus on neurodegenerative disorders, he provides expert care to patients experiencing a wide range of neurological symptoms. In his clinical practice, Dr Bashford has a particular interest in motor neurone disease and motor nerve pathophysiology. Dr Bashford completed his medical degree at the University of Cambridge in 2010. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Neurology, which commenced in 2014. His doctoral research focused on the detection of spontaneous muscle twitches, leading to the development of pioneering analytical tools to improve clinical trials and patient monitoring.
