Dr Jasper Morrow

I’m writing on behalf of my friend, who is Dr Morrow’s patient. I am her friend and I attend all her appointments with her. We both think that Dr Morrow is an excellent doctor and an amazing specialist with wonderful communication skills. We cannot fault him in any way. She feels incredibly lucky that she is under his care as she has a complex and rare neurological condition, that no other neurologist has been able to manage. However, Dr Morrow not only diagnosed the condition, he is actively managing her condition using skill, experience, knowledge, expertise and applying theory to practice to achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life for her. He always involves her in the decision-making process about treatment and management decisions so that she feels empowered and included. Two of the most important aspects of patient care are communication and interpersonal skills. Dr Morrow possesses both of these skills in abundance. He communicates with both of us in a clear, respectful, honest and inclusive manner and he actively listens. She feels involved and able to discuss anything that’s worrying or concerning her. She’s also able to email Dr Morrow whenever necessary and he responds quickly and helpfully, either suggesting that she initiates treatment changes or has a telephone or face-to-face consultation, often accommodating her as an ‘overbook’ or ‘add-on’ patient to his clinic, which is incredibly helpful and reassuring to her.
