After a long period of uncertainty and considerable anxiety I decided to pursue treatment via the private route. After extensive research, I contacted Mr Kotsopoulus via his office. From beginning to end I knew I was in safe, expert and kind hands. The whole process from my initial consultation to being discharged from hospital, having had a total abdominal hysterectomy was less than 3 weeks. Everything went seamlessly. I am currently recovering well and have nothing but praise for Mr Kotsopoulus and his team. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Kotsopoulus to any future patients.

A very confident approach with enough reassurance to give the patient a positivity on the forthcoming treatment. Explanations were clear and answers direct. He has a kind attitude and is very professional in all his dealings, always making sure there is a Nurse in attendance for each examination, no matter how quick or minor.

When given the news of a Cancer diagnosis, one of the biggest fears you face is the unknown. You can be completely supported but still feel totally adrift. In the first instance, Cancer treatment is a journey of trepidation, with many lows. You need someone who can take your hand with confidence and lead you every step of the way. I was lucky to meet Mr Kotsopoulos early along my pathway and I have no doubt that facing and fighting the daunting experiences of the Big C was made so much more bearable because of him. From initial consultation, surgery and beyond, he has been a guiding light. I felt scared when I went for my surgery but I also felt in the safest of hands. Afterwards, we even laughed at the neatness of my operation scars! Mr K was there when the journey turned the corner to meet some of the highs. Unreservedly invested in the successful treatment and wellbeing of his patients, Mr Kotsopoulos is a great surgeon and a great gentleman. I will always be grateful to have met him

I have been under the care of Mr Kotsopoulos for the past 16 months, from my initial diagnosis through to surgery, recuperation from surgery and regular monitoring thereafter. He was very thorough and clear in his explanation of the surgery I needed to undergo and discussed with me the two alternatives. He is professional, friendly, considerate and respectful and takes as much time as is necessary to answer my questions. He was even willing to return straight away a phone call ‘out of hours’ to address a concern I had during my early recovery. His follow-up consultations have always been seamlessly run and his PA Shifa is efficient and kind. Mr Kotsopoulos is an excellent surgeon and consultant and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I saw Dr Kotsopoulos at Devonshire Street. He is one of the best doctors I have seen along Harley Street. He is very knowledgeable, takes his time with you as a patient, has a brilliant bedside manner and puts you at ease. Highly recommend this doctor

Mr Kotsopoulos, in my opinion, is a surgeon at the top of his game. From the moment we met him he communicated clearly and gave us the information we needed to be involved in the decisions while giving us his guidance. His recommendations on the treatment was spot on as the results were miraculous. My wife’s cancer markers are in the normal range after the surgery and 2/3 of the chemo. We would highly recommend Mr Kotsopoulos and are looking forward to meeting him for the follow up appointments.

I am completely committed to the NHS, but when I was diagnosed with uterine cancer, I was very concerned as to what the impact of deIay would have on my outcome and decided to go privately. I feel that I was very lucky to come across Mr. Kotsopoloulous. He was able to offer me an initial consultation (on zoom) at very short notice and within a week later was in a position to do a hysterectomy. He was very professional and respectful and I was relieved to find that he was not in any way pompous and full of himself, as unfortunately some consultants can be. He clearly knows his stuff and was honest and straightforward with me. So far (4 months later), everything is fine. Of course, only time will tell whether the cancer returns but I feel peace of mind being under the care of Mr. Kotsopolous. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
