Dr Iain McIntyre

Dr Iain McIntyre is a Consultant Urologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of general and diagnostic urological conditions. Known for his approachable and reassuring manner, he focuses on delivering clear diagnostic assessments and supporting patients through every step of their evaluation and care. His clinical practice focuses on diagnostic urology and general urology, ensuring patients receive timely and thorough investigations.

Dr McIntyre completed his medical training at Cambridge University, qualifying in 1990. He subsequently undertook specialist clinical training in urology and completed a research Doctorate of Medicine (MD) investigating prostate cancer, as well as a Master's degree in Medical Education. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, specialising in Urology, and holds professional membership with the British Association of Urological Surgeons.

Throughout his career as a Consultant Urologist, Dr McIntyre has developed extensive expertise in urological oncology, pelvic cancer surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and endourology. Alongside his clinical work, he has held senior educational leadership roles, including serving as an Associate Medical Director, contributing significantly to medical training, clinical governance, and the advancement of patient care standards.

Dr McIntyre remains dedicated to diagnostic excellence and clinic-based evaluations.
