Dr Huma Farooq

Dr Huma Farooq is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who delivers compassionate, patient-centred care for women across all stages of life. She specialises in providing comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatment in a reassuring and supportive environment. Her approach emphasises clear communication and collaborative decision-making, helping individuals feel informed and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Farooq holds a particular clinical focus on high-risk obstetrics and serves as a Hypertension Lead within her field. Her clinical interests encompass the management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, antenatal surveillance, and intrapartum care for complex pregnancies. Working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams, she develops individualised management strategies designed to safeguard the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby.

Dr Farooq completed her medical education in London, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) and a Master of Arts (MA). She subsequently completed her higher specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology within established healthcare institutions.
