Dr Helen Kerss is a Consultant Geriatrician and Consultant in General Medicine who specialises in the care of older adults and holistic wellbeing. She dedicates her practice to diagnosing, managing, and treating a broad spectrum of complex health conditions affecting older individuals. Taking a compassionate, patient-centred approach, Dr Kerss works collaboratively with patients and their families to establish personalised management plans that focus on maintaining independence, enhancing daily functioning, and improving overall quality of life.

Her clinical expertise encompasses comprehensive geriatric assessments, frailty, fall prevention, and the careful review and management of polypharmacy. Dr Kerss holds sub-speciality interests in lifestyle medicine and metabolic health, offering support for issues such as bone health, impaired mobility, chronic fatigue, delirium, and cognitive conditions including dementia. Dr Kerss graduated from Sheffield Medical School in 2006, receiving her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with a distinction in a specialist study module. She subsequently completed her higher specialty training in Merseyside. Demonstrating a strong commitment to preventative care, Dr Kerss has also earned core physician accreditation with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
