Dr Hanna Richardson

Dr Hanna Richardson is an esteemed Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Paediatric Neurodisability and Developmental Paediatrics. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, child-centred care, she works closely with young patients and their families to assess and manage complex neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions. Her clinical approach focuses on comprehensive, holistic evaluations that support children in reaching their full developmental potential while offering reassuring guidance to parents throughout every stage of care.

Dr Richardson has expertise in the management of developmental epilepsy, genetic epilepsies, and rare neurological conditions affecting children. Her primary clinical interests include the ongoing neurodevelopmental assessment and monitoring of children with hypothalamic hamartoma, Sturge-Weber syndrome, and tuberous sclerosis complex. Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, she contributes to tailored management strategies, including the clinical evaluation and follow-up of children undergoing advanced treatments such as deep brain stimulation and surgery for complex epilepsy.

Dr Richardson completed her training in paediatric medicine in the United Kingdom before undertaking sub-specialty higher training in Paediatric Neurodisability, attaining her sub-specialty qualification in 2017.
