Ms Fizza Mushtaq

Ms Fizza Mushtaq is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in the comprehensive medical and surgical management of eye conditions. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, she focuses on diagnosing and treating complex visual disorders. Ms Mushtaq works closely with each patient to provide personalised treatment plans tailored to safeguard and improve vision, combining advanced clinical techniques with a reassuring approach.

Ms Mushtaq completed her medical degree at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 2010. She subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in ophthalmic surgery, earning her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Ophthalmology. To further refine her expertise, she completed sub-speciality fellowship training focusing on complex glaucoma management and modern surgical techniques.

Her primary clinical interests centre on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as complex cataract procedures. Ms Mushtaq performs a broad spectrum of interventions, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), Gonioscopy-Assisted Transluminal Trabeculotomy (GATT), Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), and trabeculectomy. She remains dedicated to incorporating modern, evidence-based practices to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients.
