Dr Fiona Reid

Dr Fiona Reid is a Consultant Urogynaecologist and Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dedicated to advancing women's pelvic health, she provides supportive, high-quality clinical care to patients presenting with pelvic floor disorders, bladder issues, and general gynaecological conditions. Dr Reid prioritises patient-centred communication, ensuring individuals feel well-informed, respected, and fully involved in decision-making regarding their treatment options.

Dr Reid qualified in medicine from the University of Manchester in 1992. Following her undergraduate medical education, she completed advanced specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and earned a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) for research evaluating surgical techniques for urinary incontinence, focusing on open and laparoscopic colposuspension. She holds professional membership as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and is an active academic member of the British Society of Urogynaecology.

As an accredited sub-specialist in urogynaecology, Dr Reid possesses expertise in diagnosing and managing complex pelvic floor conditions. Her clinical focus encompasses the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, vesicovaginal fistulae, mesh complications, and recurrent urinary tract issues.
