Dr Fiona Legge

Dr Fiona Legge is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care to women across all stages of reproductive health. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Legge offers holistic support for both routine and complex women’s health matters, ensuring that patients receive empathetic guidance, clear communication, and personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Legge earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2006. After completing four years of medical practice in the region, she undertook registrar training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Oxfordshire. She attained her professional membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2012 and was appointed to the position of Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2017.

Her clinical practice covers general obstetrics and gynaecology, with a dedicated focus on facilitating safe and active birth for higher-risk women. Beyond her direct patient care, Dr Legge is actively involved in healthcare education and clinical safety, taking a key interest in multi-professional simulation and human factors training to continually enhance safety and team communication in maternity care.
